This was my first appointment with Ms. Dungy after my psychiatrist of 32 years retired. She was very welcoming and warm. She was easy to speak with and the visit was a success. I warmed up to her quickly and found her to be a lovely, insightful person.
It is difficult to find a psychiatric provider that is competent in medication management while also having a good "bedside" manner. Karissa excells at both. She is able to navigate symptoms and listens well without judgement. I have referred several people and all have had positive experiences.
Karissa has helped me tremendously in discovering and managing my ADHD. She is kind, funny, and a great Psychiatrist. Deciding to get help was really difficult for me, but now I actually look forward to our sessions. I’m lucky to have found her!
Karissa is amazing and has significantly improved my mental health with the treatment plan she has created for me. I feel listened to, and she takes every one of my concerns seriously. Karissa has helped to open so many new doors for my 10 year old daughter. She speaks her same language and it's gold to her. Karissa is calm, caring and inclusive. She responds quickly and in 2 years we haven't had any issues with any appointments (telehealth & in-person) and/or prescription mgmt.
