It is difficult to find a psychiatric provider that is competent in medication management while also having a good "bedside" manner. Karissa excells at both. She is able to navigate symptoms and listens well without judgement. I have referred several people and all have had positive experiences.
Karissa has helped me tremendously in discovering and managing my ADHD. She is kind, funny, and a great Psychiatrist. Deciding to get help was really difficult for me, but now I actually look forward to our sessions. I’m lucky to have found her!

Karissa has helped to open so many new doors for my 10 year old daughter. She speaks her same language and it's gold to her. Karissa is calm, caring and inclusive. She responds quickly and in 2 years we haven't had any issues with any appointments (telehealth & in-person) and/or prescription mgmt. Karissa is very difficult to get a hold of, and she is also very difficult to work with. She’s not up to date with the times. People want virtual telehealth options wherever they are and not just what’s in local proximity. She made some unfortunate assumptions about me that were just downright wrong. I can only imagine that she treats her other clients in the same manner that she treated me: no class, no dignity, and no respect given.
