The dumplings at San Tung are bursting with pork, chicken, beef or vegetable fillings that are dense with flavor. The favorite noodle dishes combine a rich black bean sauce topped with either seafood, beef, chicken or veggies for a hearty and delicious meal. There are also a few Korean dishes on the menu. But the most popular dish that has customers flocking back to San Tung are the dry fried chicken wings, glazed in a light tangy-sweet-hot sauce. Refreshing Chinese and Korean beers are an excellent accompaniment. The servic... read more

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE CITY BY THE BAY The sizzling rice soup, and mu shu is the best! Prices are very reasonable, and they're always busy. The only bad part is the parking during peek hours. but, that's to be expected when "restauranting" in a city such as san fran. you'll soon forget about parking...hey, you might forget about your car, altogether (especially if you're korean), when you discover that this san tung's has some dishes that you only find at Chinese restaurants run by Korean people, in particular, Ja Jang Mei... read more
great authentic food This restaurant serves authentic southern chinese food. I especially like the steamed pork buns so I definately recommend those. The prices were good and the wait staff were very pleasant. Parking was decent, much better than you would encounter at other restaurants in the area.
This place is the best! I have to go to San Tung every time I am back in the city. The food here is amazing. I recommend the potstickers and dumplings and the dry fry chicken. The wait is long though so make sure you go early or make reservations. The service is not world class but the food makes up entirely for that. Also, I suggest trying any noodles from here because they make the noodles themselves.
Not bad, but not as good as I expected. I went to San Tung after hearing about how great it is from friends and online reviews. I probably went in really high expectations because I didn't think the food was as fantastic as it sounded. The was a long wait list when I got there, as expected. I waited about 40 minutes before getting a table, which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. I ordered the black bean noodle, the famous chicken wings (wet-style, there was sauce all over them), and the dry stir-fried green beans. The green... read more
Good food There is usually a line for this place but it is definitely worth the wait. The prices and portions are reasonable. The steamed dumpling are okay but the dry fried chicken legs are a must have, juicy and crispy. The pot stickers and noodles are so are good! The food has good flavor and tastes fresh.
Great Chinese Food San Tung is a winner in terms of taste and price. Don't miss the famous fried-dry (or wet) chicken, which is a very tasty deep fried and peppery battered chicken. I would suggest any General Tso chicken fans to try it. PROS: Famous fried dry (or wet) chicken. CONS: Long long waits. Get there early.
It’s delicious! The dry fried chicken and shrimp can’t be beat.
The wait can be a bit long but it is worth it. The Dry Fried Chicken, which is nothing like it sounds, is amazing and totally lives up to the hype.
Dried chicken was so good. Just right sweetness with sesame seeds. — with Rene Jessica Medina.
