Really can’t say enough about SPEC’s outstanding service, in general actually, but especially during this past nightmarish week. They have kept us informed continually, and have repair crews out in this weather 24/7. And not only repair crews, but we’ve had personal visits from SPEC personnel checking to make sure we were surviving and assuring us that they’re doing all they can. I believe SPEC qualifies for hero status under the heading of Above & Beyond The Call of Duty. 👏👏👏👏
Business response:
We can't thank you enough for your kind words. We know the last few days have been incredibly difficult for all of our members enduring these mandated outages during extreme weather. We have tried to provide as much information as possible to our members, and we're glad to hear it was helpful. We greatly appreciate your understanding about all the factors that were involved. And we appreciate your membership even more. We exist to serve our members and to provide a critical service, and having that control largely taken away... read more
Would like to Thank you for all the hard work you've done to keep our electricity on!!!
Business response:
Thank you for your patience and understanding! We know these past few days have been difficult to say the least.
ill prepared and not very helpful
Business response:

There is nothing we could have done differently to prevent the statewide grid from entering into a state of emergency. If we could have provided every single one of our members with uninterrupted electricity throughout this crisis, we would have. There just wasn’t power available. We do not own or maintain any of the 70+ generation facilities that tripped offline due to subfreezing conditions throughout Texa... read more
Maybe 30 minutes after calling for a power outage they had a technician out to look at things. Figured out the problem and had it fixed not 30 or so minutes after that! The absolute best customer response I’ve gotten from any business in a long time!
Best customer service and value in electricity in 9 counties of south Texas. They are responsive to our calls 24/7
Power out again. Getting real old
We had an outage today in the middle of the day, reported it via the Hub, and SPEC was extremely quick to get it resolved. So thankful for their quick response in this heat! Thank you SPEC and the linemen for all of your hard work!
Been with them for over 30 years and have never had an issue.....hope that never changes.
