Dr. Moody McCall purchased San Pablo Animal Hospital in 1989 as a solo practice. The hospital was originally housed near the intersection of Atlantic Blvd. and San Pablo Road. When Atlantic Blvd. was widened, Dr. McCall moved down the street and built a new hospital in 1997. RecommendedTaking a cat to the vet is often traumatic for the cat and the owner. San Pablo AH does an amazing job of reducing the stress on both.
I highly recommend San Pablo Animal Hospital. They are the best! A couple weeks ago, We had to make the very tough decision to let our cat, Mika, go to the rainbow Bridge and they treated her and my husband and I with sincere compassion. If we get a new fur baby, we will definitely bring him or her here.
Arrived 5 min early for a 10am nail clipping. Called from my car....we will be right out....Sat in their courtyard for 15 minutes waiting to get my dogs nails clipped. 15 minutes in the heat while my dogs freaked. One has cancer so he was a mess. They never came to get them after 15 loooong minutes. Will never return. They’ve seen my last dollar....
They are very caring and we’ve used them for over 10 years. Highly recommended!

They had no problem prescribing my sweet boi the meds he needed. Our last vet wanted to “wait and see if the condition worsens”. I hope they close down.
