Was charged 11.25 to check in an hour & half early, was charged 100$ deposit was charged 1$ for extra towels & 15$ for clean sheets absolutely absurd. Room slept 6 people but only 1 tv just very inconvenient also it was up 4 flights of stairs no elevator we had older people with us that had a lot of problems getting up & down we asked for rooms on the ground floor & they wouldn't even give us 1 never again

This place was terrible! It was dirty, dark, and damp. , and weren't able to get our money back. The bathroom was dirty and the faucet fell off, and there was a window the opened only an inch and it overlooked the main rd. the "washer and dryer" we're on a random balcony and were from the 1960s. The area was sketchy too. We had our door locked at all times. Our view was the soda machine and ice cooler that didnt work. Our blankets were stained with blood. I do not recommnend anyone to spend a vacation here. Last year 2013 my wife and I spent our first anniverssary here and we had to literally make the best of a dirty motel. The door handle of our room fell off. The rooms are very small. The walls can be heard through. They do not allow renters to have visitors. The property is dirty. This was definately a learning experience for Lisa and I. This is the best thing I can say about the San Marina Motel on Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach, FL.
