Recently Moved Having recently relocated to San Diego North county, I searched for a new dentist. Responding to a Penny Saver ad and in need of a cleaning, I reached out to San Marcos Dental Center. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and professional. The care I received was excellent and will definitely plan a second appointment for continued dental care.
All All went well as a dentist office goes. Doc you have a very professional staff and a relaxing environment.
Working Well Dr. Hurt and his dental assistant work so well together with confidence and expertise that my experience in the dental chair is relaxed and comfortable. I like the progressive comments about how the procedure is going - it helps me to know everything is going according to plan. Most importantly, there is very little, if any, discomfort once the "numb" goes away.

I highly recommend Dr. G. Hurt and his staff are wonderful and professional. The office has been in San Marcos for many years and has advanced technology. My experience was the best I have ever had. My first dental visit was at 8 years where my grandma was the assistant. How technology has advanced. I had almost no pain during treatment and none after! Very friendly Have been in a lot of pain on both sides of my mouth for different reasons. Finally have relief on left side (2 fillings) in spite of still needing another crown (huge mercury filling from when I was a child and on Medi-Cal). Dr. Hurt tries to avoid doing root canals whenever possible, but I thinlk it may be unavoidable on the right side...time will tell. Thank you for trying to keep my out of pocket expenses down...not your fault my insurance doesn't cover much. Very friendly staff too. Thank you so much.
