This small, intimate restaurant, which opened in 1984, features Northern Italian cuisine. It is family-owned and operated by Nancy and Frank Grimaldi. Frank grew up in Italy as the son of two private chefs, and his skill in the kitchen has made San Marco one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Accompanied my husband on business and had dinner on a Tuesday night. We were able to get right in and the service, the food, and wine were amazing. I have a lactose intolerance and the service was able to recommend a salmon dish with an alternate sauce that was amazing!
Absolutely the best restaurant in Buffalo. I've been eating there since 1985.
