Awesome staff.
I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied with any of my appointments at SLO Eye Associates. Dr Baldwin is genuinely concerned about my vision and the staff is very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for vision care!
This was my first time seeing Dr. Basich. I was impressed with him and the entire staff. Dr. Basich provided a comprehensive eye exam. He understood my concerns, explained things thoroughly, and made me feel that my concerns were valid. He did not make me feel as if I were just another set of eyes. The staff was great, took their time when asking me questions ( something a lot of other places do not do, as if it's "beat the clock." It was a positive experience and will continue going with Dr. B and the staff.
Don't schedule an appt. here if you have a time crunch. Waited 20 minutes after my appt. started to get called back. Waited another 40 minutes to see the doctor. Zero urgency. They incorrectly prescribed my contacts. Made me wait another week to get refitted. Couldn't figure out the correct choice. Had to wait days to get another set of contacts. Didn't have the correct trial pairs. Told the doctor this was effecting my work. VERY blurry vision. He said I would have to suck it up and deal. Not even sorry. HORRIBLE place.

Well, I have been seeing Dr. Basich for many years...since 2000, I think. He is a dear, and really friendly and thorough. Have not had to have any special eye care other than refractions and exams, but he checks out everything so carefully, and the rest of the staff super friendly and competent. I especially thought Vanessa really did a great job this last visit. the Optical shop personnel are also very good at their jobs, and they even had some frames in my insurance's price range. I highly recommend SLO Eye Associates!!
