Poor and frustrating living conditions We have lived here over 2 years, and our experience began great and has progressively gotten worse. Devil horror maintain and treatment Living at Villa Siena has been one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. Management is unprofessional, unhelpful, and tries to charge tenants for things they cannot even explain. They added an $857 “legal fee” to my account but refused to provide any invoice or proof. 12.5%-30% RENT INCREASE - NO CAP FOR NEW BUILDS I just received a notice to increase rent at the time of my lease renewal. The 13-month rental rate increase is a 12.5% increase. The month-to-month increase is 30%. There is no rental cap on apartments built in the last 15 years. The "bill back" for a single resident is approximately $155/monthly. Noisy neighbors! Do not move in! Everyone please read my warning!! Do not move into unit 211 at Estancia apartments!! The next door neighbors will keep waking you up all night long! HORRIBLE Customer Service WORST customer service experience with the leasing office. Went in this weekend to see what are options were for extending a lease or looking at other options within the building. Each time I am met with unhelpful staff, attitude, and VERY short responses. Newport Nightmare Apartments I recently moved into Newport Ridge Apartments in June, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. Upon moving in, I discovered a severe pest and insect infestation, including black widows, wolf spiders, and roaches. The situation was so dire that roaches were visible in the power sockets, indicating they were living within the walls. Management/Maintenance are horrible The apartments and community are nice but if you ever want to get a hold of management or maintenance then good luck with that. No one ever picks up the phone at Resident Services and they also don’t return your call or email unless you keep haggling them. You literally have to chase them down as if you were a bill collector. Poor Management I've been a resident of Avella for about 2.5 years. While it's a nice community it's plagued with an inattentive staff, poor parking, and constant fire alarms. A resident near me has been hoarding salvaged cars (6 total) without license plates or parking passes inside the community parking lot. After repeated calls to the front desk, they've yet to take any affirmative action for over 6 months.
