Everyone was so thoughtful and understanding. They put us at ease the minute we walked through the door, panicked at 5am. We left comforted that a 24 hour vet was so wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to bring either of my fuzzballs there, again.
For over 15 years, I have been taking my baby girl Mocha to The SFVS. clinic. When she was 4 months she needed a specialist, and we were like to find Dr. Stewart . Dr. Stewart took such great care of Mocha, that I still have her with me. She will be 17 years. I don't know what I would of done If I didn't fine this clinic, they have people that really care.
This review is for Dr. Mehl and her amazing surgical team. When my 3 year old lab was originally misdiagnosed by another doctor at VCA (this warrants a separate review), Dr. Mehl not only properly diagnosed him, but also performed a complicated surgical procedure that saved my dog's life. In addition to being compassionate, dedicated, knowledgable, and friendly, this staff goes the extra mile. Our cat had a terrible health scare that had us worried for over a week and had me feeling every bit the crazy cat lady, as I called SFVS for advice, no exaggeration, at least three times a day. But not once did SFVS make me feel crazy cat lady; on the contrary, they assuaged my fears with every call, gave appropriate advice, and reminded me that I could call anytime. This is truly an incredible hospital with an outstanding team of of veterinarians, technicians, and supervisors. Each and every member of the SFVS team cares deeply about the work they do, and manages to create individualized medicine based on both the patients' and clients' needs. For being such a large hospital, they have successfully created a personal and intimate environment, where everyone entering their hospital doors feels valued and appreciated.
