Great ensemble, especially with MTT or Blomstedt on the podium.
While I loved going to the symphony- my experience and memories have been absolutely ruined by the incessant marketing and fundraising calls, mailing, and emailing after the fact. I have unsubscribed, talked to the callers- and still they come, sometimes at the rate of two or more per week. While I recommend the arts and the orchestra to all who ask- I would warn you that the follow up sadly takes away from the beauty and talent of the show, instead feeling like a money machine desperate to bring you back.
