The show was amazing. Common came to preform and he did an amazing job with an unbelievable encore! The symphony was perfect as well as the staff. I always enjoy venue. I gave 4 stars because the sound system was off the first half making it challenging to hear the vocals. The performers gave their all and the audience expressed their gratitude. It was unpretentious, spontaneous and explosive! I would live to see more performances like last night’s.

First time to the San Francisco Symphony, and it was a truly amazing experience! I will definitely be going back! Also, I highly recommend seeing Star Wars while it is here!

Star Wars - A New Hope: wish they had used the classic film release instead of the newer one with digital add-ons but that is because I am a purist when it comes to this trilogy. It was amazing hearing the score played live. The only disappointment was the cantina scene was film sound effects instead of live orchestra. The brass and winds could have really had fun with it so I am wondering why that artistic choice was made. Will be back for Empire and Return in the coming weeks!
