I went to the SPSPCA this time last year to adopt a cat. The staff was very helpful in guiding me through the adoption process and I ended up with Jasper, a domestic longhair who's a total sweetheart. Thanks SPCA, I couldn't have found a better cat!
SFSPCA is against prong collars yet require their “trainers” help kill dogs that could be trained with proper tools. “Participate in dog behavior reviews and assists with the humane euthanasia of any Society dog(s) that do not meet adoption criteria.”
