I have just started volunteering as a cat matchmaker at SPCA. I am really impressed about the system. They take it very seriously. We had two sessions of training before even touching a cat. We have to get a clean apron, sanitize our hands, get a clean toy and register at 3 different points before we visit each cat to socialize with them. Then we write our notes about the cats we visit so that all notes can be read by the next volunteer. Very positive environment.
SF SPCA is great for animals and people! Great work!
Such caring energetic staff. Thank you VetSOS for taking Duchess to SPCA to get her umbilical hernia fixed and get her neutered. By way Awesome this woman had a feral catch cage with a cat needing to be fixed. The do it for free help cut the unwanted kitten population
