always a good burger & beer I've been going to the SF Saloon for over 20 years and it hasn't changed a bit. The food is good (you can even find healthy stuff) and the beer is cold (Anchor Steam, Widmer's and Sierra on tap). Lots of big wooden tables and room at the bar so it's never too crowded. Big windows bring in the afternoon light and plenty of TVs always have the game on. Free parking in the lot beside the building or on the street.
Great pub My husband and I frequented the SF saloon after our weekly softball game - what a great place for burgers and beers. It's still a great place for the same. Very popular during happy hour and the noise level increases accordingly so if you're looking for an intimate venue, this might not be it. Street parking or tandem parking in a nearby lot that has an attendant - fun place.
great dive bar This place is a great dive bar where you can chill with friends and watch some games on the tv's behind the bar. The atmosphere is very local flavor type. The drinks are good but similar to most bars. The menu is fun because it has specialty burgers and the names are after streets or fun places in San Francisco. Of course for me having lived there It brought back so many memories.
