I always told myself that if I ever make get down to the Bay Area, I want to take a sailing trip around the bay. Not a tour boat, not a cruise line, but a REAL sailing trip......and that is EXACTLY what I got when I went out with Captain Randy and crewmen Nick and Elliott. We had an excellent time on our cruise. You get to see the SF bay in a much cooler way and get up close to some of the sights rather than just touring on land. The crew were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We would definitely do this tour again!
Reasonably priced and very fun experience. I recommend sailing to any tourist (or local) and this was an easy and straightforward company to use. (re: accessibility, my personal opinion is that those who lack the ability to stabilize themselves due to muscle weakness/injury/aging or who require assistance such as a cane should stick with a ride on a larger boat (Hornblower, etc). This is a review of their Basic Keelboat I sailing lessons (ASA 101 part 1). This company is extremely unprofessional! This is supposed to be a 12-hour course over 2 days, 9:30am-3:30pm every day. On day 1, the instructor was late, he arrived at 9:40 instead of 9:30. They ended at 2:30 instead of 3:30. They were instructed to show up at 10:30 the next day, instead of 9:30, and the instructor showed up at 10:45. They also ended at 2:30 on day 2. So that is just under 9 hours of instruction instead of 12.

I would also be willing to spend my own time helping your boys learn to sail, if they want to. Voluntarily. We are always willing to do this. There is fatigue involved on this bay. You wouldn't understand this. You also wouldn't have thought to ask.
