I spent most of my childhood in San Diego. And fortunately, I spent a lot of it at San Diego Yacht Club, with my mother. I learned how to swim in the club pool, dined at least twice a week at the club restaurant, and spent many hours sailing with my mother and her friends on their yachts. I have so many fond memories from the club, and being around the club’s world class sailors, and of course, my mother.
