I still remember how frustrated I was when I was assigned to this clinic last year. The nurse didn't understand the instructions of the doctor. She simply couldn't order labs correctly, missed a bunch of labs in the requisition or ordered the wrong panel. Had to call and message back and forth to get the correct tests to be ordered.

I scheduled an appointment specifically for an annual physical, which under my insurance has always been fully covered. Here I was not seen by a physician but a physician's assistant, nor was I informed the visit would be billed as anything other than a preventive physical. The appointment was less than 1 hour and billed as two separate appointments. I was charged $70 out-of-pocket ($40 copay and $30 for basic lab work). My doctor being on maternity leave, I’ve just had an appointment with another doctor to review the results of imaging that I had done. I feel I have thrown my copay ($30) down the drain. The report of the imaging was posted on MyChart. During the appointment that doctor had nothing more to add! Honestly I can read too, the report was written in plain English. If as a doctor you cannot give me suggestions or provide answers, you’ll soon be replaced by a trained AI. Bottom line - this appointment was just to cash money. A wast... read more
