Dr George Mueller saved my life. I am still on this beautiful planet spending more time with my wonderful children and family because Dr Mueller made the decision to perform surgery that others said I didn't need and then sent my "non-cancerous" tumor that was already tested into a lab and they found a microscopic very rare form of cancer. I saw Dr Mueller for my second opinion. Retrospectively, I should have seen him first. He was highly recommended to me by another surgeon from Scripps. He reviewed my medical history before the appointment. We had a good conversation and he was reassuring. He asked about my concerns and gave me the time to ask questions. I did not feel rushed or belittled. His front office staff and medical assistant were very kind and helpful.
My husband sought a consult with Dr. Mueller this past summer for gastric sleeve surgery. He went through a quick meeting and set him up for a lengthy presurgical protocol. (he did say he was polite.) In the interim, we had friends recommend new weight loss drugs and talk him into going that route before signing up for a risky surgery. My husband sought a script through his GP and is now down 11 lbs in 3 wks on a semaglutide.
