The location is unreal. San Diego is a beautiful venue and all the shops and restaurants are a walk or bike taxi distance away. The problem was they were not clearly prepared for all the attendees appetite for coffee and food! They need to have more places on site for both. Especially the hungry and tired vendors. I also found they were cutting it close to start time with their set up time. That surprises me. Other than that, awesome location! San Diego and Nashville, Tennessee are my two favorite convention venues.
The meet and greet wasn't as planned pay me I need my money.
Great facility, fantastic location, either too hot or too cold.
The convention center itself is fantastic. The goods services to deliver you crate post conference, leave a little to be desired. I have been doing conferences for over 15 years and I have never had to wait longer than 1.5-2 hours for a crate to arrive at our booth. After finishing AABB this last week, the crate took 4.5 hours to arrive! In all my years, I have never seen a crate take that long to arrive! Caused both our team members to miss flights and one person to have to stay an extra night in San Diego. Very disappointe... read more
