Adopted my bunny Emmy from here - they do an amazing job making sure you have a good idea of what you’re getting into, from Bunny 101 class to “speed dating” potential candidates and offering a voucher for the first free vet visit. Also, they have the biggest bunny supply store in the area with the best mixed hay and even a grooming “salon” on Saturdays. I wouldn’t trust anywhere else to board Emmy when we’re away, and they offer very reasonable rates too.
A lovely organization saving and supporting rabbits, and educating rabbit lovers in San Diego!
What a beautiful facility and caring staff! The bunnies are all happy and well cared for. Thier pens are immaculate and filled with beds, boxes, toys and plenty of fresh alfalfa hay. As the only rabbit shelter in Southern CA they are taking on a monumental task of fostering and adopting out bunnies where there is no shortage of supply from people who for a variety of reasons can no longer care for thier pets. Please consider donating whatever you can to this awesome organization.🐰
I adore SDHRS! Their Bunny 101 class helped us learn how to properly care for our newly adopted rabbit, Klaus. We’ve attended Hoppy Hour and we’ve done Bunny Boarding while we were out of town. It’s clear that they are knowledgeable and passionate about rabbits. They are good people! We often shop in the boutique for safe and healthy rabbit toys, treats, and of course hay. Thank you so much for all that you do for bunnies and their humans.
