awesome food – THE BEST PIZZA AND ITALIAN FOOD AROUND.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT
REAL HOMEMADE SAUCE – THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD AROUND THERE IS NO COMPARISON.THE SERVICE IS SUPERB. THE FOCACCIA BREAD IS EXCELLENT.THE PRICES ARE GREAT, SO YOU COULD ACTUALLY EAT HERE A FEW TIMES A WEEK.I HAD MY ALL TIME FAVORITE DISH "VEAL SALTINBOCCA"MY HUSBAND HAD PIZZA PESCATORE.AND YOU HAVE TO TRY THE APPETIZER "MISTO " DELICIOUS!!
real italian loves this place! – As an Italian from the NY, I was hard pressed to find good,authentic Italian dishes. Imagine my delight when I discovered San Carlo! Not only does the atmosphere remind me of a cozy bistro but the food is absolutely incredible! The servers are very helpful and the nightly specials are a treat not to be missed. Also, the homemade limencello is the perfect ending to this culinary adventure. I would recommend San Carlo without any hesitation to family and friends alike.
The Best Italian Food In Raleigh – I have eaten at San Carlo four times and everytime the food and service has been top notch. Try it you won't regret it.
Good place! – Tonite I visited San Carlo for the first time and wished I found out about it earlier. My neighbor sent me there. I ordered the calamari and it has to be the best in town. I then had the salmon special and it was delicious. I was informed by the waitress that the chef's specials change nightly and are usually first rate. I will return!!
eccellentissimo bistro – When you walk in to S. C. bistro you`ll find yourself in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. And that`s what I like about it. That`s why I`m going back from time to time with my husband to enjoy quality peacful time together after work. Love the place – I have dined at San Carlo over 5 times now. It is so refreshing to have something similar to the Italian food I miss from NY. I called one evening on a saturday and the manager remembered my name and guarranteed my wife and I seats at the bar, knowing that seating was at least an hour wait. Now thats personalized service. I have eaten the veal and found it fork tender and the red sauce is close to my mother in law's, who happens to be from Sicily. Not worth the money – If you are looking for authentic italian food don't go to San Carlo's Italian Bistro. There was a poor Italian wine selection, the food was not authentic. If you are looking for the italian staples go to Maggiano's at Southpoint.

Cozy – A very enjoyable restaurant. I've been 3 times and each time the food was excellent- and i'm a food snob! The staff is outstanding. Not too stuffy, and very cozy. Good place for a week night dinner.
