CASA SAN CARLO...NORTH RALEIGH – Visited with my friend, Master Chef Carlo Cappiello at his new "Digs", Casa San Carlo for lunch today. As usual, the lunch buffet was loaded with great salad, pizza by the slice and the best Italian dishes to be found in Raleigh or the Triangle for that matter. Best Italian Food In town – Hey everyone if you have never tasted the master chef Carlo Cappiello's food, you must visit, he just took over San Carlo, which is now Casa San Carlo. They are located in the Kohl's shopping center on the corner of Durant and Falls Of Neuse Rd. You will not be disappointed

I Found Carlo – I always went to Casalings in Mini City. Last time I went I found Carlo was no longer there. I found him at Casa San Carlo in north Raleigh. The Best Italian food I ever had. If you are looking for the best Italian food try San Carlo. I give him Five stars.

PIZZA! – We recommend pizza with italian sausage, jalapenos, fresh garlic, and mushrooms...even better if you can take time to eat it in the restaurant.

Great Italian food, good atmosphere – First time last night, despite some mixed reviews we took a chance. After waiting what seemed to be a very long time for water and bottled beer, we were served an excellent meal. We had the eggplant parmesan which came with angel hair pasta and appetizing vegetables on the side, and a delicious dish of shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels and more. Thumbs Up Great biscotti and expresso are served here. Enjoy both with friends or family. The service is good and the prices are reasonable.

Lousy Food/Service San carlo italian bistro Raleigh – We had a meal today and the service was so bad with only one waitress on staff. The meals arrived and were cold, we asked for them to heated up and they reluctantly reheated them. The meal eventually came out without silver wear and we asked for knives and folks. The owner stormed out and almost threw them at us. We also waited and waited for coffee to be told they have none. Very bad and very uncomfortable situation and we will never return.
