They normally do a good job on my hair when I walk in so I will give it a couple of stars.. 3 days ago I scheduled an appointment for today (Saturday) at 11 and was told it would be good. Saturday gets here, I called to see if I could come a little earlier.. the lady asks me if I can reschedule for 4.. I've been a loyal customer at Samyve Hair Braiding for many years without any issues, but everything changed on May 23, 2025. I walked in, hoping for my usual medium knotless braids, but noticed they had some new braiders. I'm accustomed to having my hair done by Ms. Nodege, so I felt a bit anxious about trying someone new. I moved to Rock Hill in 2021 and needed a braider. I had a few good experiences, but not like the one I had with Yvette. I called about pricing and came as a walk in. From picking out the size of my braids to picking out the color, she was so professional and accommodating. She even told me to let her know if my bride were too tight when she started.
