He provided me with a very accurate description of my mother's problem which turned out to be an emergency-averted. I took the immediate steps to get the problem corrected. Dr. Pollack remained in touch with us throughout. Good attitude with the patient and the family, as well.
This is some eye doctor. A few weeks ago, he was doing a consultation in the Bronx on one of my family members -- a relatively new patient of his. This doctor spoke with me on the telephone and told me that he wanted to get a second opinion, the sooner the better. All I can say, with due respect to the privacy of the patient, is that this is a good doctor who knows what he is saying. When Dr. Pollack says "Get a second opinion." just do it. He is the type of doctor who will follow-up, too.
