My mom was referred for some pain in her foot from a podiatrist. She was told she get a call back for appointment for the referral within a few days. It never happened after waiting for over a week. Was told an appointment day after making several calls , followed up with a call to verify appointment day before and was told it would be a week later for the angioplasty. Had 3 renal ultrasounds done there....Dr. Steerman reported the same diagnosis on the first two.... the 3rd ultrasound showed what he diagnosed on the first two was now not present. When I questioned him about his earlier diagnosis he told me that ultrasounds can be unreliable. When I questioned him how he could be sure about the reliability of the current ultrasound he stood up.....shook my hand....instructed me to return to my primary care however his office is always available.
