Dr. Schenker took so much time evaluated me and cured my long-standing issues. He is truly dedicated and brilliant. Highly recommend this wonderful neurologist.

I saw Dr Schenker a few years ago and the appointment remains in my mind. Worst doctor I have seen across the board. The first thing he said to me, upon seeing me was not “hello” it was “I’m not prescribing you narcotics.” Then he left the room. I hadn’t asked for narcotics, I hadn’t even said a word to him. It was rude and offensive. I had to fight just for him to order an MRI. I never went back. If you’re in Ocean County I’d recommend Garden State Medical.
Went for my appointment at 12 noon office locked . No one answers the phone. THEY MESSAGED ME TWICE ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT.
Dr. Schenker was very attentive and thorough. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. His office staff was very friendly and efficient. Overall i had a great experience.
I WOULD GIVE THIS DOCTOR A 0 STAR IF THEY HAD ONE. HE INSERTED A SPINAL STIMULATOR IN MY HUSBANDS BACK (trial). TOOK IT OUT ON A FRIDAY. FELT FINE AND OVER THE WEEKEND EXPERIENCING HEADACHES AND BACK PAIN. COULD NOT WALK. WENT TO EMERGENCY ROOM AND HAD TO HAVE EMERGENCY SURGERY AS HIS ENTIRE BACK AND SPINE WERE INFECTED. HE COULD HAVE BEEN PARALYZED BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD HE WAS NOT. WE HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN PAYING FOR HIS TREATMENT. NOW FROM THE RESULT OF SURGERY HE NOW HAS LYMPHEDEMA. Dr. Schenker only wants what's best for his patients after proper evaluation his goal is to see his care is the best treatment and remedies' a true pioneer in pain management.
He performed a miracle. My pain in the back is now gone, after many years of suffering. Very professional and explains all treatments.
Dr. Schenker was beyond compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. His team was also helpful and kind. Not a long wait at all. Everyone was extremely organized. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Dr. Schenker, for helping me.
