This is just one of those places that you make plans to stop and eat when driving through. I see a lot of people rave about it being the best restaurant in Texas. I think that is quite a stretch...but what it is is consistently great food. I've eaten here probably 100 times in my life, and it's always the same. Just really good food. There is a reason that the parking lot is always full.

Stopped by on the way home from the Sooner game yesterday - unbelievable brisket - most tender I've ever had. And dang good sweetened tea, too!

The best good we have been coming over 35yrs We always stop when we pass through Fairfield.Sometime we just come from Houston to eat a great meal great service.I have never seen the place dirty or bugs it a place isn't clean I will not eat at that place ever.
Best food and even a small portion is a lot! We loved it!
Best buffet in the WORLD, where food still has flavor!!! Yummm,, yummmm!!!
