It was so good to see Sam’s open during these troubling times. I hope the owner can keep it open for the sake of the employees and the traveling public and especially those truck drivers. Hopefully you can find a way to let everyone know you’re OPEN FOR BUSINESS. I always stop at Exit 197 anytime I’m on I45. To eat an awesome home made meal, shop and bathrooms are always clean. the best food that I have ever had at a buffet, the best fried chicken, and desserts, big delicious strawberries

I loved the buffet!!! Worth the drive from Ennis. This is always on our schedule when passing through, but today we made a special trip just for the food. Bread pudding and pineapple pie was a special treat.
Must stop going from Houston to Dallas. Great food and service.
