Dr. Akbar is a very sweet lady. She has decades of experience on her. She is very clear in all her information and diagnosis. She always answered my questions willingly and patiently. The staff is very sweet. Missy and the nurse (I don't remember the name) are very helpful. They know their job very well. The office hours are also very convenient. Wednesdays, they start late so they go on till the evening. And they work every alternate Saturday so it is a huge plus for working couples.
Awful experience. Due to her negligence we had a miscarriage for no other reason. Please avoid this doctor. Later when we talked with other doctors, they were surprised too at the way she handled our pregnancy.
Worthless, doctor, awful experience, don't waste your money on this place. On my last visit there I had waited an hour past my appointment time while people who were walking in after me were being called in right away. The doctor did not listen to my concerns, and as a proof of that I have my pdf report on their portal - where out of the long list of symptoms she only put down one! She spent 2 minutes with me at the most and offered no advice, no answers, no opinion. I paid her for nothing and i
Dr. Akbar and staffs are very nice, good bedside manner. I ended up getting c-section and she did wonderful job. Sometimes the waiting was too long than actual exam time.
We had worst experience with Dr Samreen Akbar. She mistreated my wife's infection. She ignored it even after my various mentions of it and posed a serious health risk to mother & baby. One day when the infection got serious, she agreed to see us when we called her office. She made us wait for more than 2 hours and saw everyone else who came after us. When I expressed concerns, she asked us to find another OB. We changed OB, now she is sending us fake bills. Accrding to insurance we owe nothing.
She was the best! Very attentive and great bedside manner. Also I ended up needing a C-section and she did a great job! 1 year later and I can't even find the C-Section scar! I am very sad that I moved away and won't be able to have her for my next child. There is no one else I would trust more.
