I was treated professionally when playing there, both as a local opener and as part of a touring package. They take care of the bands, they take care of the people.
Played my first show ever with Graviton here at Sammy's. Killer Robot (Dante) knows how to book great shows and I always have a positive experience playing and seeing shows here. Great location, great sound and awesome people what more could you want.
My band Til Our Collapse played there once last year. This place was recommended by a friend. Right next to the ocean, pizza shop next door, what more could you ask for? Very chill people work there. Good drinks, good music, good fun!
Sammys Patio is the best dive bar around these parts. Any show held here always always always has supportive bands and attendees. Dante Gaeta / KRP is for one of the best promoters in MA - more than fair pay out, free beer, and such a great dude. The Versa Contrast will always hold Sammy's near and dear to our heart, thanks to Dante. I'm sure a lot of other bands feel the same!
Sammy's Patio is a fantastic place to perform and to see live music! It's metal friendly and Killer Robot always books great acts. My band has played there numerous times and each time gets better and better. The place itself is literally across the street from the ocean, has plentiful parking and reasonable drink prices. I love going to Sammy's Patio! Great staff, great drinks, outdoor smoking area and it's on the water!! Lots of amazing local bands and great people there!
I really enjoy playing here & coming down to just hang out or watch my friend's bands play. The staff are really good people & have always treated my band & I very well. Very glad to have a place like this around. You get a very warm welcome if you're a stranger & once you're friendly with everyone it's almost like you're apart of one big family.
Anyone in the local scene knows that if you haven't played Sammy's, then you aren't there yet. It's a staple, as many have said, and a legendary spot. If you go there for any given metal show and don't know anyone, you are bound to leave with new friends. It is a mecca for people of like minds to come together and share a common passion. Also the beer is reasonably priced and there is always a party on the patio. Hit this joint up, especially if it is for a Killer Robot Productions gig.
