Patient Review for Dr. Saab – UCLA Hepatology I have been a patient at UCLA Hepatology for over 20 years. When Dr. Durazo retired, my care was transitioned to Dr. Saab. At our first appointment, I felt hopeful—he came across as knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Unfortunately, over time, that initial impression did not hold up. Dr sab is and excellent Dr very caring and knowledgeable I went to to sab with a life threatening liver condition and Dr sab ended up saving my life would highly recommend any one to see him.

When I went down to UCLA to see Dr. Saab, he seemed generally concerned he was very nice. He said don’t worry we are going to get to the bottom of what’s going on with your liver. Lots of blood work was done, I had a follow up visit through telehealth to go over my bloodwork he told me he didn’t see anything that I was fine, He was not the nice guy that I had met in his office, he was very short with me Never said hello when he got on the video call, he was very as a matter-of-fact, he basically just hung up on me when he fi... read more

I first want to say that Dr Saab is a nice person who I do believe is a very good doctor. However, for me it wasn't the right fit. I had doubts about the care i was receiving quite early but was assured that he was very respected by his colleagues and peers. While that might be the case, I have managed to find much more thorough, thoughtful and satisfactory care at Cedars Sinai.
