This was the worst experience I've ever had at Samaritan Medical Center. It honestly felt like my daughter and I were just a bother. She was brought in by ambulance after a grand mal seizure. She's an adult with IDD and was extremely dizzy. A nurse pushed her to get up and use the bathroom, spoke down to her, and then got angry when she tried to stand and started jerking again. Do remember the average wait time in the ER is 2-5 hours. The doctors and Nursing staff are extremely helpful and kind. Very professional and gave the appropriate amount of time! Thank you.
Slowest care you will ever receive, do not go here for any kind of actual emergency. You are far better off driving to Syracuse to get seen than to get seen in the "Emergency room" here.
You will die waiting in the waiting room. Waited 7 hours in the middle of the night to be seen for my 1 yr old child after she hit her head and had a pretty deep laceration and was brought in my ambulance.
