Very disappointing billing experience. We went to this clinic for routine annual checkups with a high-tier insurance plan. Lab samples were collected at the clinic, but they were sent to an outside/lower-benefit lab without notifying us or asking for consent. We were not told this could create additional patient responsibility. We later received unexpected lab bills, and when we tried to dispute them, we were told it was too late and that the bill was correct. Like other reviews on here describe, this is clearly a pattern of last-minute cancellations. I got a call just 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment — canceling it — which I couldn't answer because I was driving. I'd taken time off work for this, and no accommodation was offered to fit me in sooner with another doctor; rescheduled for more than a week out.

I had a very disappointing experience at this office today. I drove about 30 minutes to my scheduled appointment after taking time off from work, only to find out that my appointment had been canceled without any notice. I did not receive a phone call, voicemail, text message, or email informing me of the cancellation. A simple courtesy call would have saved me a wasted trip and lost work time. Disappointed in the quality of service since Stanford took this practice over many years ago. The doctors lack time with patients to provide quality service. Without asking me any questions within 2 minutes of walking in the door, the young lady doctor asks if I would ever consider medication for high blood pressure. Never asked about my eating, exercise, mental health. Straight to pushing medicine before getting to know me. I used to know my doctors by name, had respect for their opinions, now I just see pharmaceutical sale... read more
