I am absolutely baffled. My husband and I are active duty military and had just celebrated our wedding the night before. We went to Samantha's for a brunch the next morning with our service dog. We were denied service because we didn't call 48 hours ahead to state we had a service dog (I've never heard of this bogus law) and the owner got an attitude with us so naturally I became defensive. I was blown away by the level of disrespect and lack of professionalism from the owner of this establishment. My friend (an active duty marine) has a service dog and was denied a seat at the restaurant with her dog. As an independently owned and operated establishment this owner should rethink her attitude and outlook on customer service. I will never recommend this restaurant and you should think twice about supporting a business who does not support a military member and her service animal.
In town for my best friends wedding, and decided based on amazing reviews, that we would come here the morning after the wedding! Both the bride and groom are active duty Marine Corps and have a Service dog. When they walked in, they were turned away insisting that they need 48 hours advanced notification. We will definitely never be returning, and the actions of the owner and her attitude, are completely uncalled for. This is by far the highest level of disrespect I have seen from a restaurant.

Ate there for the first time - it won't be the last! Excellent food. Good quality ingredients and an intriguing menu - not to mention a great server and good ambiance! There are so few restaurants that I would boast about - this is one of them! Think about opening up another store in Streetsboro!
