Hole in the wall with great food I was taken here when I was visiting on vacation. Basic food, unpretentious...all around wonderful! I love the pictures of the old OBX that dot the restaurant. It's great stuff for an out of towner like me. Each time we go to OBX for vacation, we make it a point to stop in to Sam & Omie's.
Local hangout This place is a great place to get the obx feel and is a favorite of many locals. Good bar, great breakfast, and other tasty meals. Lots of fisherman hang out at this place, and you can always trust a place that has a list of regulars!
What a fun hole in the wall local time We had just got back from the beach and were starving. We literally had on our bathing suits and sand on our shins and we fit in perfectly. This is a local hang out. Many fisherman and locals come to this bar and eat this delicious food. It's is basically a shack of sorts, with tons of character. The food was fantastic, they were great with kids. This is the place for local seafood. The parking lot is sand and dirt. We loved it so much we got t-shirts :)

Great old, I mean OLD (1925 I think), seafood restaurant with friendly people and fast service.
We celebrated my birthday dinner last night at the recommendation from friends in Annapolis. What a wonderful find! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had an enjoyable experience. They closed while we were still there and they didn’t rush us to leave. We will definitely return on our next visit!
Great service and food!! One of our favorite places to eat when visiting the Outer Banks.
