The computer didn't show reservation for 6:30 but my cell had confirmation. Got table then food order never made to kitchen so not served until 8 pm. Food all great, atmosphere nice. Service alittle lacking, but would try again. Special occasion so not too happy with the mishaps. They did comp a dessert.
Called multiple times, girl who answers the phone was unprofessional rude and sounded like she did not want to work there , at the end of placing our order , it's our first time going there so we are not familiar with the menu and the online menu is outdated so she had to rename a few pasta dishes, after the snobbiness she didn't even hang up the phone yet, says, O M G ..like we were bothering her and making it so difficult. Went here for dinner a couple nights ago. Absolutely amazing, Caroline checked in on us at our table and was so welcoming and sweet. The food and ambience was exquisite. 10/10 recommend. Kansas steak was phenomenal. Will be coming back!
Thank you, Salvatore’s, for not disappointing! Hands down, the best meal and service we had in Hamden. I called Salvatore’s because I was looking for a small to-go order for a private jet, and Caroline was incredibly helpful from the start. While the food was being prepared, my colleagues and I decided to dine in, and we were so glad we did!
