I lived in the Tyler Salvation Army for 3 months 15 years ago. I can say that it saved my life. I was homeless and hungry. They gave me a roof and a bed and hot meals. It wasn't easy, there are definite rules. But as long as those rules are followed, it's a cake walk. I met some wonderful people there. Two men that I still look up to today. One of those being Captain Donnie Marvels. I'm doing well today. I'm retired and own a home, have a beautiful loving wife and two rambunctious kids. I that God for all he's given me.
One of the best experiences of my like. What a wonderful crew they have there. I so enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people and look foward to working with the Salvation Army again soon. I appreciated to opportunity to be of service!
Great stuff. Great prices. Great people all working for a great cause.
The people who work at the SA are truly kind and really want to help people. They bless so many people every single day
