My absolute favorite restaurant. We went with a party of 9 and had a fabulous dinner with great drinks and everyone enjoyed. Must get the garlic bread!
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Driving in from NH, we walked in very early before an evening show, knowing many place would be full later on, and were greeted like old friends. The host and staff were helpful in letting us sit at the bar where we enjoyed spectacular cocktails and outstanding dinner. The environment was friendly, cozy and upbeat. The food alone can hold its own among some of the best but paired with such a welcoming staff and wonderful atmosphere- Salute is not to be missed!
We went to Salute prior to seeing Hamilton and I can honestly say I have never had better service. The owner himself was attentive and very sensitive to our time constraint on a night that was very busy for them. The servers were all personable and professional. And, the food was absolutely amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. I live in Maine, and I plan to make a return to this restaurant because it was THAT good.
If there is one thing that keeps me coming back it’s the astounding customer service. The owner is top of the line and really knows how to treat patrons. When I called to make a reservation I was asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. I causally mentioned we were going for a birthday dinner. I never mentioned it again when we arrived at the restaurant. We love Salute!!! Jimmy treats us like family every time we visit. The service is excellent and the food is consistently delicious! The cheesy garlic bread is to die for! We plan trips to downtown Hartford just to go to Salute! Keep up the good work!
