5 star on the service Emily is amazing and her service and friendliness is the reason for the 3 stars. As far as the food i would have to say 1 star at best. I do not mind paying good money for great or even good food. The pan roasted chicken was mediocre at best and came out three minutes after we ordered it cold. I understand having preprepared food when it's a small restaurant and you anticipate your covers , but at least let it be hot. The drinks are good. The wine was good food. Definitely not worth the price , even if i... read more
The service was amazing from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were delightfully boozy and well-crafted, making them the perfect complement to the meal. Dessert was especially memorable, with multiple layers and components that came together in a unique and interesting way. My only regret is not calling ahead for a reservation on a Friday night, as the restaurant was understandably busy. I'll definitely be planning ahead next time because I will absolutely be coming back!
We were asked to leave before we finished our wine so they could turn tables. I checked my watch and the time limit is 90 minutes apparently - so don’t go over your time limit or you will be rudely ushered out. Saltbreaker you lost a repeat client forever by treating your patron horribly - eat fast folks or you’ll get kicked out for taking up too much of their time - I guess making money is more important than allowing your paying clients to have a good experience - by the way I’ve lived in Alameda and the Bay Area my whole ... read more
Went here for Alameda restaurant week and tried the 3 course prix fixe menu. The starting salad was flavorful and beautifully presented. The risotto was delicious, my wife noted it might be the best she's ever had, and the dessert was a cute soccer ball design made of a light fluffy coconut mousse around a tropical fruit insert that was refreshing and not too heavy. Service was helpful, attentive, and friendly as usual at Saltbreaker. Great spot for a date night or celebration.
Everything was amazing 🤩 before ordering they asked if we had any allergies, I love that. We ordered the duck and steak, food came out fast and was so flavorful! Food and service was amazing, thanks Kevin! Well priced with decent portions. Our first time and we'll definitely be back.
