Got around to trying Salt & Straw after seeing various locations across LA & WOW this place delivers with a bang. The ice cream was absolutely delightful. I am a huge fan of ice cream so I have tried a good amount of ice cream and few places usually leave such an impression. This place was one of those unicorns. The ice cream can sometimes have a gummy texture. Which is gross. Also had some ice in it. This months flavors are bad. It's gone down hill.
After hearing about Salt & Straw for ages, I finally checked it out, and it did not disappoint! The flavors are unique and daring, like the Honey Lavender or the Pear & Blue Cheese. I had a scoop of their Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, and it was a dream. The staff was so friendly and patient as I took forever to decide. It’s a fun spot for ice cream lovers looking for something different.
