The last time my husband and I ventured down south,we stayed in the St.Pete area.We wanted to go and have a nice dinner for our anniversary,so we asked several locals where was the best place to dine,to which 90% of them replied "Salt Rock Grill". The ambiance and service couldn't have been any better,but the best part was the fact that every bite I put in my mouth took me straight to culinary heaven.I will be back this April and am much looking forward to dining at Salt Rock again.
Salt Rock Grill is a must while in area on the beach. Great ambience, cocktails, a decent wine list and the food is quite good. You can eat inside or outside and enjoy the seaside. Arrive by boat, jet skis, plenty of parking for cars. You won't be disappointed. Be warned the is not what I call "fine dining". Salt Rock grill was great, not any more I don't know if it was a bad night or what. I made reservations a month ahead of time my birthday was February 6th brought my wife and brother in-law and waited 20 minutes for our drinks all are server did was give us excuses on why we are waiting so long then we ordered dinner it was not what i was used to the soft shell crab was soggy the gouper was 3 inches long 2 inches thick i said something to my server all he said its by weight it was way over cooked mentioned to him the problem... read more

I love the Grouper Chowder,seared bacon wrapped scallops,and the Crab Portobello. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes are also very good. Actually everything I have eaten their is good. Thank you for the great service you have . Will be back !!!
Excellent meal and excellent service, as we were new to your restaurant Server Travis explained how fresh fish are caught for the restaurant and the types of fish they were. Keep up the good work.
Live the bar...inside and Tiki Tuesday. Mike, Sandra and Travis are the best really. Love the Grouper or Snapper breast and the steaks are killers. Now this place is a regular for us.
