The Best in Town I've been in the F'bg. area for 9 years and have gone to Salono Salono for the last 4 years. Prior to using Salono Salono, I had to commute to Richmond to get my hair done by a great hairdresser I had gone to for ten years.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I have been going to Bruce, the owner of Salono Salono, for 18 years. I have always found the staff friendly, helpful and very professional. I am always offered something to drink when I arrive. Bruce is always on time for my appointments. The prices are comparable to other salons in the area and the decor is timeless. Salono Salono is MOST DEFINATELY WORTH EVERY PENNY i have been a customer of salono salono for several years. i have always had a great experience. i have looked at the other responses. it seems like some people are in need of a psychiatrist instead of a stylist. especially after seeing how they spell. when i go to a salon i dont expect a lesson on what's performed on my hair. i am more interested in the outcome. i would also like to add if i ever had such a bad experience, ( in pain, or no reading material etc) i would let ... read more
Used to be the best I have used salono salono for 5 yrs, and just last month i decided to stop going. The last couple of years the service started becoming sloppy and it seemed like my stylist {that i had for 5 years}started slacking on the products and she stopped styling my hair at the end. After reading the other reviews i feel better about stopping going. Do not go there! This is an "upscale" salon where I have had my hair done on several occasions. Recently, the salon has gone down hill and the customer service is below acceptable standards. On my latest visit, I had a hair color,highlights and a cut. I was unhappy with my haircut the day after and requested a touch up. over priced i wouldnt reccomend solanosolano.they are over priced and the girls that work there...lets just say not what i would expect from an upper class slaon! Too much money for such litle done and so so service I walk in I see two employees in the corner and one is talking LOUDly and complaining someone stole her make up and some cursing then I sit there and wait. I get taken to my chair and I tell the lady what I want. She never asked what color I wanted my hair or if I wanted it cut and or what style I was looking for.
