Salon Vesta & Day Spa is good. I have been here a few times. Once for a massage and once for a color and cut. The massage was good, but I wasn't crazy about the cut/color. My highlights weren't great. Tatum was the stylist, I think I will try someone nw next time. They also have a small boutique where they sell some jewelry, belts, tops and jeans.

Pedicure i've gone to them twice..this time was better...very friendly, really liked the complimentary wine, the massage on my legs and bottom of my feet were the best ever!! going back next month...a little pricey, but, really enjoyed it.

I got a massage here I don't want to list her name, because that would be mean, but I got a massage here to relax during finals week. It was way too much pressure, and I was really sore all day and the next day afterwords. She also kept talking and asking questions!!! Hello!!?? It's supposed to be RELAXING!!! She also had these nasty tattoos that were unprofessional and should have been covered up.

Salon Vesta I can't believe I just read a negative against Tatum. I have been going to Tatum for a long time. She does great color, cuts, perms and styles. I am a very picky about my hair. She is awesome.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff I have been looking for a new spa for a while. I used to go to Sahar's but they had such a high turnover with their employees (and every time I would find someone I liked, they left the salon spa). I have visited quite a few day spas in the last couple of years in the Des Moines area. Anyway, I love the professionalism of the employees at Vesta. Wax services are excellent. Salon Vesta is the only place I will go to have my waxing services done. I swear it doesn't hurt as much here. I tried a different place recently because it was a little cheaper. A BIG mistake!! I will not be doing that again. I will just have to save up a little longer to have my waxing done. It is SO worth it! PROS: A relaxing experience, which is odd for waxing. CONS: A little pricey, but still worth it
