I recently visited Salon Universal for a haircut and long overdue full highlights. My stylist is Liz and she did a fabulous job with both the cut & color. I will always go to Salon Universal for Liz to expertly cut, color, style my hair. She told me each product that she used so I can hopefully keep my new do styled as wonderfully as she did. The price was very comparable to other salons, in fact less than most. The salon itself has an urban industrial design that I love. I highly recommend Liz & Salon Universal!

I would NEVER recommend this place!!! I went in for hi-lights and came out with fried hair and a burnt scalp! Needless to say they still made me pay for half and refused to refund the rest of the charge, even after showing them the scabs on my scalp and my horse mane of hair now. I have been getting my hair done for 20 years and I have never had such a horrible experience. I had to wait for 30 minutes for the stylist, then I was told it would take an hour to correct my hair color. I've been here for over 2 hours and its still not done. Meanwhile, my stylist has done at least 5 men's hair cuts, while I sit under the dryer or sit at the sink waiting to have my hair washed. So, if your a woman, you may want to go some where else.
