Over priced, arrogant, and rude. Everything thing is a la carte. Drove an hour just to be told they didn't have time even though an appointment was made ahead of time. Located in the back of a small town strip mall. I am inclined to believe the fantastic reviews are by employee's and friends.
I have to say, I have been to many stylists in my life and have NEVER (I mean NEVER) been under the care of such incredible knowledge and talent. From the start of my consultation, all the way until the final product, Sherry and Rebekkah took an immense amount of time to nurture my hair. Unbelievably expensive! I will never go back. I am someone who has no problem spending money on my hair, but even by my standards this was insane. I have been getting shampoos and blowdrys for years in Lake Mary, and I paid almost DOUBLE what I normally spend. I went in for a shampoo and blowdry. I have curly hair that is a few inches past my shoulders. After my blowdry was complete, my hair was still a little frizzy and needed a flat iron run over it. Love this place! All the employees are very helpful and well informed. I have had the best cut of my life from Soehne! She's the best. Started getting my hair colored at this salon to cover gray and have never felt that my new hair color did not look natural!
LOVE this place!!! I have been coming to Salon Ratay for a couple of years now after many frustrations with my previous salon. I come here once a month for color touchups and trims. Everything about this place is top notch. When you walk in, you are greeted promptly and welcomed as though you have arrived at a friend's home. It's too bad I didn't read the review that is already here before I went to this Salon. I had the same colorist (Nikki) Nicole, fortunately she did not work on my hair. She seemed at a total loss on how to color my hair. She kept telling me what she couldn't do instead of letting me know what she could do. The receptionist Jacob didn't listen to me when I told him I wanted color and highlights and just put me down for color. So, Nicole kept telling me she didn't have time to do what I wanted. Bad experience, unprofessional, they left my roots darker than the rest of my hair, I cried when I saw my hair...frustrating experience, Nicole called me, asking me to go back and fix my hair but i refused i dont trust them, i sent an email to the owner , never replied ...she doesnt care about her costumers
