Amy is amazing!! I have been going to her for years. Some hair stylists specialize in specific categories (e.g. cut, color, highlights, etc.). I have literally gotten every color of the rainbow in my hair and had many different styles of haircuts. BEWARE HAIR WAS DESTROYEDI – I was recommended to have my hair colored by Amy. What a mistake. I sat down with her and showed her pictures of blonde hair with lowlights. I have been blonde all my life. She explained to me she was going to highlight and put lowlights in to balance my hair. Balance is the operative word here. I walked in at approximately 2:30PM and didn't exit the salon until 8:30PM. Unheard of! Worst Place – My daughter went there for magenta streaks, came home, and there was blond and orange. The pink quickly faded within 2 nights, looked horrible. I called, spoke with the owner, and brought my daughter back to get it done correctly. The owner had the same lady do my daughter's hair (Laura or Lauren) instead of having some else fix her hair. We did address the situation at no charge to the client. We also discounted the original service. The young lady had been in chlorine which does not work well with this type of direct dye. We remedied the situation based on the client's hair, our concern was keeping the integrity of the young lady's hair.
Dominique made me GORGEOUS! – I went in to see Dominique last weekend because I was referred by a friend who loved her highlights and she gave me blonde and light brown highlights that were just... honestly the best I have ever had done! The cut we did was simple (just long layers) but she styled my hair so nice and smoothe that it didn't frizz when I walked out into the humidity. Dominique was so sweet and easy to talk to!
