RecommendedI normally am not huge on reviews but after the great service today I had to! Salon Liquid has quickly become my favorite salon. After moving to Boulder I had a lot of difficulty finding somewhere I not only trusted but loved. Joy(owner) can make you feel like your best self with her skills and amazing personality. RecommendedJoy is an absolute legend when it comes to hair color and highlights. She consistently gives me ash blonde hair that retains its color for months. It's about time I give her a review since I have been coming to her for 2 years (after paying triple the price elsewhere for botched highlights). On top of it all, the salon has a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that offers a variety of services.

RecommendedWhile I recommend Salon Liquid, I do not recommend Chris. In 30+ years , I have never had my hair over processed until now. Front of my hair clearly has burnt ends which I think was hidden by curling/straightening iron before I left. Washing and letting it dry clearly shows burnt frizzy ends. Need pics?
RecommendedI really had a positive experience the first few times I went to Salon Liquid and although it is located in Boulder with not the best diversity, I felt that the staff knew what was best for hair of people with different ethnic backgrounds. I also noticed that much of the staff is conversationally adaptable with the variety of clientele that trusts and respects the staff the same way I do. I love Salon Liquid!!
Salon Liquid is an adorable, quirky, homey fun salon in Boulder. All of the staff at the salon are incredibly welcoming. Joy is extremely knowledgable, and is clearly an expert. I came into her salon after I turned my hair blue trying to dye it into a silver/gray color myself. She was super diligent and detailed and made sure I walked out of the salon with the exact color I wanted.
