Well Worth a Two-Hour Trip – A native Huntsvillian, I decided to try Salon FX in Nashville after perusing the reviews on Citysearch.com. I asked for an appointment with a master stylist, and they scheduled my haircut with Cheri (with an accent on the 2nd syllable). The staff was very attentive. Brazillian Waxing – Madlen is great for brazilian waxing! I moved up from South Florida, where they've been providing this service for a long time, but when I got to Nashville, it was tough to find someone who was good. Madlen is a seasoned pro who doesn't hesitate or make you feel uncomfortable.
Kevin is awesome!!!!! – I went to see Kevin in an attempt to fix a horrible highlighting job done elsewhere and he did an amazing job!! Instead of ugly blond strips, I now have wonderful highlights and lowlights. In addition, he took the time to explain the best ways to keep my hair healthy, showed me new ways to straighten my hair, and helped me find products to enhance my style. LAURA CONNER does it again!!! – I don't know what to say other than if you need someone to do your hair that knows what they are doing and will not screw you up, go to Laura! I have been going to her for sometime now and she has never done me wrong. Jason is Amazing – I have been going to Salon FX for over 2 years. I usually go to another girl, but I had the pleaure of meeting Jason. I have always liked my color, but for the first time ever, I loved my color.I have never got so many compliments before. Jason is so amazing. I almost don't want to tell anyone about him, because I want to keep him all to myself. I doesn't hurt that he is super hott either!! I really do recomend him to everyone. Virtually a reason to move to Nashville – Salon FX is an absolutely fabulous salon. I went on a recommendation from a friend and was hooked immediately. BRANDY is a fantastic stylist -- highly recommended! She always does an excellent job on my hair. I don't live in Nashville anymore but each time I visit, I make it a point to visit Salon FX and Brandy for a trim. Well worth it!
1st timer – I recently went to SalonFX for the first time. The Salon is very nice and so are the people who work there. It was a comfortable experience. I wasn't sure what I wanted done with my hair when I arrived, but it couldn't have turned out better. I will be going back soon to have some color work done. I recommend that you ask for ATHEA when you call to make your appointment. She played an integral part of my great experience.
ASK FOR TELA – I would like to suggest Tela Kulp. I was referred to her from a friend who always had great hair, so I've been going there about a year now myself! I love how she gets right on the scalp...that way I only have to go in about every 2 months! Just give her an idea of what color and she'll give you a suggestion! Thanks Tela!
poor customer care – Management is completely unresponsive to customer complaints and apparently prefers to remain ignorant of the poor service that some of its employees give to its customers. Cell phone use by employees while they are working with a customer should not be acceptable, especially when the salon charges such high prices.
