Never go back! I went to Michelle, who is the owner of Salon Elle, but I will never go back. She would ask a question, then not listen to the answer. She spent time on her cell phone arranging her outside life, while I was in the chair. She was rude when I tried to ask a question concerning my hair. Basically, I couldn't believe she was the actual owner of the salon. Add to that the fact that the fried smells coming from the restaurant below was nauseating.
Not good I made a appointment with Michelle lytle owner of salon Elle for a highlight. She turned my hair orange! and cut it to short. She overcharges and is very rude. I would not recommend her service and salon.
The Best Salon in all of San Diego I have been a client of Salon Elle for years and have always been incredibly happy with my hair. All of the stylists are talented and professional and the owner is not only amazing with cuts and color but also extensions. If you are worried about going to a Salon where attitude and lack of experience is a problem then book an appointment here. You will be glad you did!
Salon Elle Is One of the Best in San Diego I read all the reviews here and am amazed that anyone had anything negative to say about Michelle or the salon. I have been a faithful client for many years and send all of my friends here. Their prices are very competitive and their staff is always polite and welcoming. They know hair and if you are looking for a salon you can trust definitely make a trip.

Michelle is an amazing colorist! I have to respond to the negative review from Lisa M. about Michelle Lytle and her Salon. I have been a client of Michelle's for over 10 years, and have to say that she is nothing but an extremely talented hairdresser.Her eye and knowledge of color is amazing. Great salon This is not a typical large Full Service Salon. It is small, and intimate. They only do hair, no nails, facials, etc. But, what they do, they do right. The cuts and color are second to none. And now the new owner specializes in extensions which is a great addition to this salon. The prices are not cheap, but with your hair, are you really looking for a bargain??
